🌱Sprout Lab's Curriculum
Our Class Progression
At Sprout Lab, our classes are designed to build skills step-by-step. To ensure students succeed and stay safe with hands-on tools, classes must be taken in order — or students must show they’re ready for more advanced work.

We encourage all prospective students to attend an introductory seminar, where we will go over important information and outline the steps to take prior to the first meeting.
Beginner Level
Build your first motion detecting robot
5 Hrs. 1Hr A day. $20 per hour + $50 material cost
No prior experience needed!
Students will learn:
-
How to use basic CAD (3D design)
-
What common maker tools do (3D printers, CNCs, voltmeters)
-
Simple electronics (LEDs, breadboards, DC motors)
-
Basics of programming for robotics (Python, Java, C++)
-
Circuit design using Tinkercad
Homework will be assigned throughout the week!

Advanced Courses
Build your own path.
Our Advanced Courses are designed for students ready to take their robotics and engineering skills to the next level. These classes focus on building complex, high-impact projects and are offered in three tiers—L1, L2, and L3—based on your skill level before joining. Each course begins once at least five students express interest by “buying” the interest option. Unlike the daily beginner sessions, advanced classes run 1–2 times per week for 10–15 weeks, allowing for deeper learning, self-guided exploration, and mastery of advanced concepts. Students are welcome to sign up for multiple courses to broaden their expertise and tackle diverse challenges. Tuition cost is $20 but project cost varies by course.
